kiṁ karma kim akarmeti kavayo ’pyatra mohitāḥ tat te karma pravakṣhyāmi yaj jñātvā mokṣhyase ’śhubhāt

કર્મ શું છે? અકર્મ શું છે? આ વિશે જ્ઞાનીઓ પણ મૂંઝાય છે. તેથી, જે જાણવાથી તું સંસાર (જન્મ-મરણના ચક્ર) રૂપી અશુભથી મુક્ત થઈશ, તે કર્મનું સ્વરૂપ હું તને કહીશ.
