yāvadetān nirīkṣhe ’haṁ yoddhu-kāmān avasthitān kairmayā saha yoddhavyam asmin raṇa-samudyame
Meaning
ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು - "ಓ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ನನ್ನ ರಥವನ್ನು ಎರಡೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸು, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬಯಸಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಯುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿರುವ ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯಾರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡು."
