saṅkaro narakāyaiva kula-ghnānāṁ kulasya cha patanti pitaro hy eṣhāṁ lupta-piṇḍodaka-kriyāḥ

ವರ್ಣಸಂಕರವು ಕುಲಘಾತಕರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಲವನ್ನೂ ನರಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಪಿಂಡದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಜಲತರ್ಪಣಗಳಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತರಾಗಿ ಅಧಃಪತನ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ.
