bhogaiśwvarya-prasaktānāṁ tayāpahṛita-chetasām vyavasāyātmikā buddhiḥ samādhau na vidhīyate

సుఖభోగములు, ఐశ్వర్యముపై ఆసక్తి కలవారు, అటువంటి బోధనలచే మనస్సు అపహరించబడిన వారికి, ధ్యానంలో, సమాధిలో (సుపరిచేతనావస్థలో) స్థిరంగా నిలిచే నిశ్చయాత్మక బుద్ధి ఏర్పడదు.
