chinne dhanuṣi daityendrastathā śaktimathādade ciccheda devī cakreṇa tāmapyasya kare sthitām

ધનુષ કપાઈ જતાં, દૈત્યોના સ્વામીએ એક શક્તિ (શૂળ) ઉપાડી; પણ દેવીએ તે તેના હાથમાં હતી ત્યારે જ તેને પણ પોતાના ચક્રથી કાપી નાખી.
