nimittāni cha paśhyāmi viparītāni keśhava na cha śhreyo ’nupaśhyāmi hatvā sva-janam āhave

ಓ ಕೇಶವ, ನಾನು ಅಪಶಕುನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಯಾವ ಒಳಿತನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.
