ಅವನೂ ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿ (ಆಯುಧ) ಯನ್ನು ದೇವಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಸೆದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅಂಬಿಕೆ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು 'ಹುಂ' (ಹುಂಕಾರ) ದಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ತೇಜೋಹೀನಗೊಳಿಸಿ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳಿಸಿದಳು.
