Transliteration

śhrī-bhagavān uvācha kāmyānāṁ karmaṇāṁ nyāsaṁ sannyāsaṁ kavayo viduḥ sarva-karma-phala-tyāgaṁ prāhus tyāgaṁ vichakṣhaṇāḥ

Meaning

ശ്രീ ഭഗവാൻ പറഞ്ഞു: "ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ ചെയ്യുന്ന കർമ്മങ്ങളുടെ ത്യാഗത്തെ സന്ന്യാസമെന്ന് ഋഷിമാർ മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാ കർമ്മങ്ങളുടെയും ഫലങ്ങളുടെ ത്യാഗത്തെ ത്യാഗമെന്ന് ജ്ഞാനികൾ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നു."
