indriyāṇi mano buddhir asyādhiṣhṭhānam uchyate etair vimohayatyeṣha jñānam āvṛitya dehinam

ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങൾ, മനസ്സ്, ബുദ്ധി ഇവ അതിന്റെ ഇരിപ്പിടങ്ങളെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു; ഇവയിലൂടെ അത് ജ്ഞാനത്തെ മൂടി, ദേഹധാരിയെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
