devyuvāca ahaṃ vibhūtyā bahubhiriha rūpairyadāsthitā tatsaṃhṛtaṃ mayaikaiva tiṣṭhāmyājau sthiro bhava

(देवी म्हणाली:) 'मी माझ्या शक्तीने येथे ज्या अनेक रूपांत उभी होते — ती मी मागे घेतली आहेत, आणि मी एकटीच उभी आहे. (युद्धात) स्थिर राहा!'
