swbhāva-jena kaunteya nibaddhaḥ svena karmaṇā kartuṁ nechchhasi yan mohāt kariṣhyasy avaśho ’pi tat

Meaning

ହେ ଅର୍ଜୁନ, ତୁମର ନିଜ ସ୍ୱଭାବରୁ ଜାତ ତୁମର ନିଜ କର୍ମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବନ୍ଧା ହୋଇ, ମୋହବଶତଃ ଯାହା କରିବାକୁ ତୁମେ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମେ ଅସହାୟ ହୋଇ କରିବ।

Thou art endowed? O Arjuna, with martial alities, prowess, valour, skill, etc. Thou art, therefore, bound by these innate alities. Thou wilt be forced to fight by thy own nature. Nature will constrain thee to fight, much against thy will.
