devyuvāca ekaivāhaṃ jagatyatra dvitīyā kā mamāparā paśyaitā duṣṭa mayyeva viśantyo madvibhūtayaḥ
Meaning
(ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ:) 'ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ; ਮੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਓ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਦਿਵਯ ਵਿਭੂਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖ!'
