sa dṛṣṭvā tāṃ tato devīṃ tuhinācalasaṃsthitām jagādoccaiḥ prayāhīti mūlaṃ śumbhaniśumbhayoḥ

ਤਦ ਬਰਫ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਰਬਤ (ਹਿਮਾਲਿਆ) ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ, ਉਸਨੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ: 'ਸ਼ੁੰਭ-ਨਿਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਹ!
