tasya dūtasya tadvākyamākarṇyāsurarāṭ tataḥ sakrodhaḥ prāha daityānāmadhipaṃ dhūmralocanam

ತನ್ನ ದೂತನ ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಅಸುರಪತಿಯು ಆಗ ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ, ದೈತ್ಯರ ನಾಯಕನಾದ ಧೂಮ್ರಲೋಚನನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು:
