kathaṁ na jñeyam asmābhiḥ pāpād asmān nivartitum kula-kṣhaya-kṛitaṁ doṣhaṁ prapaśhyadbhir janārdana

"ഹേ ജനാര്ദ്ദനാ (കൃഷ്ണാ), കുലനാശത്തിലെ ദോഷം വ്യക്തമായി കാണുന്ന നാം എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഈ പാപത്തില്നിന്ന് പിന്തിരിയാന് പഠിച്ചുകൂടാ?"
