tān samīkṣhya sa kaunteyaḥ sarvān bandhūn avasthitān kṛipayā parayāviṣhṭo viṣhīdann idam abravīt

ସେ ଉଭୟ ସେନାରେ ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ଓ ସୁହୃଦମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଖିଲେ। ଏହିପରି ସଜ୍ଜିତ ହୋଇ ଠିଆ ହୋଇଥିବା ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ସ୍ୱଜନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି କୁନ୍ତୀପୁତ୍ର ଅର୍ଜୁନ ଗଭୀର କରୁଣାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇ ଶୋକାକୁଳ ଭାବେ କହିଲେ।
