dṛṣṭvā tadāpatacchūlaṃ devī śūlamamuñcata tena tacchatadhā nītaṃ śūlaṃ sa ca mahāsuraḥ

ସେହି ଶୂଳ ପତିତ ହେଉଥିବାର ଦେଖି, ଦେବୀ ନିଜ ଶୂଳ ନିକ୍ଷେପ କଲେ; ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେହି ଶୂଳ ଶହେ ଖଣ୍ଡରେ ଛିନ୍ନ ହେଲା, ଓ ସେହି ମହା ଅସୁର ମଧ୍ୟ।
