yāvadetān nirīkṣhe ’haṁ yoddhu-kāmān avasthitān kairmayā saha yoddhavyam asmin raṇa-samudyame

അര്ജുനന് പറഞ്ഞു: "ഹേ കൃഷ്ണാ, യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യാന് ആഗ്രഹിച്ച് ഇവിടെ നില്ക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് കാണുവാനും, യുദ്ധം ആരംഭിക്കാന് പോകുമ്പോള് ആരോടാണ് എനിക്കു പോരാടേണ്ടതെന്ന് അറിയുവാനും വേണ്ടി, എന്റെ രഥം ഇരുസൈന്യങ്ങള്ക്കും മധ്യത്തില് നിര്ത്തിയാലും."
