The Gayatri mantra of Brahma · Traditional (Vedic)

Beyond the universal Gayatri Mantra, the Vedic tradition gives each great deity its own Gayatri — a prayer in the sacred Gayatri meter calling upon that deity to illumine the intellect. The Brahma Gayatri invokes Brahma, the creator of the universe, as the very soul of the Vedas (Vedatma) and as Hiranyagarbha, the golden cosmic womb from which all creation springs. Following the timeless pattern "Vidmahe… Dhimahi… Prachodayat," it is chanted above all for wisdom, knowledge and creative power.

ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ କୁହାଯାଇଥିବା ପରି

The Vedas describe Hiranyagarbha — the golden womb identified with Brahma — as that which arose in the beginning and upheld the heavens and the earth; meditating on this creative source through the Brahma Gayatri is traditionally said to awaken insight, memory and original thought in the sincere seeker of knowledge.
