Jaya Yogishvara Datta Dayaal. Tun ja eka jagamaan pratipaal. Atryanasuyaa kari nimitta. Pragatyo jagakaarana nishchitta.
Victory to you, O Datta, lord of yogis, the compassionate one — you alone sustain the whole world. Taking sage Atri and Anasuya as the occasion, you surely appeared as the very cause of the world.
Brahma-Hari-Hara-no avataar. Sharanaagata-no taaranahaar. Antaryaami Sat-Chit-Sukha. Bahaar dharaa bahuvidha sukha-duhkha.
You are the incarnation of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, the deliverer of all who seek refuge. As the inner controller you are Existence-Consciousness-Bliss; outwardly you bear the world's manifold joys and sorrows.
Vaade gher ke raanamaan. Raho chho Chaitanya roopamaan. Sahaaya karo sadaa sarva thaam. Aganita roope aganita naam.
Whether in a garden, a home, or the forest, you abide as pure consciousness. You give help always and everywhere, in countless forms and by countless names.
Maataa tun ne pitaa tun ja. Bandhu tun ne sakhaa tun ja. Trigunaateeta triguna-svaroopa. Akala aroopa ne bahuroopa.
You alone are mother, you alone are father; you alone are kinsman and you alone are friend. You are beyond the three gunas yet are their very form — indivisible, formless, and of endless forms.
Tuja vina bhatakyo bahu bahu door. Have charane raakhyo jaroor. Preme pukaarun dinaraata. Datta Datta basa eka ja vaata.
Without you I have wandered very far astray; now keep me surely at your feet. Day and night I call out in love — 'Datta, Datta' — that alone is my one word.
Veda Shaastra Puraana pramaana. Taaraka mantra e Datta-pramaana. Guru bina jnaana na ko paave. Datta-kripaa vina na kalaave.
The Vedas, scriptures and Puranas are the proof; the saving mantra rests on Datta's own authority. Without the Guru no one gains knowledge, and without Datta's grace it cannot be made clear.
Jaya jaya kaarunika Avadhoota. Taaraka tarana trigunaateeta. Anasuyaatmaja Digambara. Datta Digambara Datta Digambara.
Victory, victory to the compassionate Avadhuta, the saviour who carries us across, beyond the three gunas. O sky-clad son of Anasuya — Datta the sky-clad, Datta the sky-clad!
Jaya Giranaari Avadhoota. Shri Gurudatta Digambara soota. Bhaave bhaje je nara-naara. Tene taare e bhavapaara.
Victory to the Avadhuta of Girnar, the sky-clad son who is Sri Gurudatta. Whatever man or woman worships him with feeling, he carries them across the ocean of worldly existence.
