देवि प्रपन्नार्तिहरे प्रसीद प्रसीद मातर्जगतोऽखिलस्य। प्रसीद विश्वेश्वरि पाहि विश्वं त्वमीश्वरी देवि चराचरस्य॥
devi prapannārti-hare prasīda prasīda mātar-jagato'khilasya | prasīda viśveśvari pāhi viśvaṃ tvam-īśvarī devi carācarasya ||
O Goddess, remover of the sufferings of those who take refuge in You, be gracious; be gracious, O Mother of the whole world. Be gracious, O Ruler of the universe, and protect the world — for You are the sovereign of all that moves and is unmoving.
सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके। शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते॥
sarva-maṅgala-māṅgalye śive sarvārtha-sādhike | śaraṇye tryambake gauri nārāyaṇi namo'stu te ||
O auspiciousness of all that is auspicious, O benevolent one who accomplishes every aim, O refuge of all, three-eyed Gauri — O Narayani, salutations unto You.
सृष्टिस्थितिविनाशानां शक्तिभूते सनातनि। गुणाश्रये गुणमये नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते॥
sṛṣṭi-sthiti-vināśānāṃ śakti-bhūte sanātani | guṇāśraye guṇa-maye nārāyaṇi namo'stu te ||
O eternal one who are the very power of creation, preservation and dissolution, the abode of the qualities (gunas) and their embodiment — O Narayani, salutations unto You.
शरणागतदीनार्तपरित्राणपरायणे। सर्वस्यार्तिहरे देवि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते॥
śaraṇāgata-dīnārta-paritrāṇa-parāyaṇe | sarvasyārti-hare devi nārāyaṇi namo'stu te ||
O You ever intent on rescuing the meek and the afflicted who seek Your shelter, O Goddess who removes the distress of all — O Narayani, salutations unto You.
सर्वस्वरूपे सर्वेशे सर्वशक्तिसमन्विते। भयेभ्यस्त्राहि नो देवि दुर्गे देवि नमोऽस्तु ते॥
sarva-svarūpe sarveśe sarva-śakti-samanvite | bhayebhyas-trāhi no devi durge devi namo'stu te ||
O You who are the form of all, the Lord of all, endowed with every power — save us from all fears, O Goddess Durga; O Goddess, salutations unto You.
रोगानशेषानपहंसि तुष्टा रुष्टा तु कामान् सकलानभीष्टान्। त्वामाश्रितानां न विपन्नराणां त्वामाश्रिता ह्याश्रयतां प्रयान्ति॥
rogān-aśeṣān-apahaṃsi tuṣṭā ruṣṭā tu kāmān sakalān-abhīṣṭān | tvām-āśritānāṃ na vipan-narāṇāṃ tvām-āśritā hy-āśrayatāṃ prayānti ||
When pleased, You destroy every disease; when displeased, You frustrate all longed-for desires. No misfortune befalls those who have taken refuge in You, and indeed those who shelter in You become a refuge for others.
