ଉତ୍ପତ୍ତି ଓ କଥା

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11, Verse 54 · Sage Veda Vyasa (Mahabharata, Bhishma Parva) · Ancient (text compiled c. 5th–2nd century BCE)

In the eleventh chapter, the Yoga of the Vision of the Universal Form (Vishwarupa Darshana Yoga), after Arjuna beholds and is awed by the cosmic form, Krishna resumes his gentle, loving aspect. He then teaches that such a form cannot be reached by study, austerity or sacrifice, but only by undivided devotion — making this verse the loving conclusion of the great vision.

ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ କୁହାଯାଇଥିବା ପରି

The saints of the bhakti traditions cherish this verse as Krishna's own promise that love alone unlocks the vision of God; countless devotees who had no learning or ritual power are said to have attained his presence simply through the undivided love this verse extols.

Krishna declares that he can be truly known, seen, and reached only through ananya-bhakti — single-minded, undivided devotion. This verse, coming right after the vision of the Universal Form, identifies pure love as the highest and most direct means to realize God.
Ananya-bhakti means undivided, exclusive, wholehearted devotion in which the heart turns to the Lord alone, without seeking other ends. It is love free from distraction or ulterior motive — the very quality Krishna says is needed to know and attain him.
Because after displaying his awesome cosmic form, Krishna makes clear that such a vision and true union come not by power, study or ritual, but by love. It is one of the Gita's strongest endorsements of the path of devotion (bhakti yoga) as supreme.
Let it remind you that the heart of spiritual life is love for God. Chant it to gather your devotion into single-pointed focus, and let it inspire you to approach the Lord with sincere, undivided affection in prayer, chanting and daily remembrance.
