In the tenth chapter, the Yoga of Divine Glories (Vibhuti Yoga), Krishna unfolds for Arjuna the foremost manifestations of his power throughout creation. Here he moves from scriptures and gods to the inner instruments of experience — the mind and consciousness — showing that the same Supreme shines outwardly in glory and inwardly as the awareness of all beings.

✦ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ କୁହାଯାଇଥିବା ପରି

Seekers who meditated on the phrase 'I am consciousness among beings' report that the search for God, once directed outward, suddenly turned inward and came to rest in their own awareness, where they felt the nearness of the Lord as their very Self.

ଯେକୌଣସି ଧାଡ଼ି କିମ୍ବା ▶ ବଟନ୍ ଛୁଇଁ ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ

ଵେଦାନାଂ ସାମଵେଦୋଽସ୍ମି ଦେଵାନାମସ୍ମି ଵାସଵଃ। ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରିଯାଣାଂ ମନଶ୍ଚାସ୍ମି ଭୂତାନାମସ୍ମି ଚେତନା॥

vedānāṁ sāma-vedo ’smi devānām asmi vāsavaḥ indriyāṇāṁ manaśh chāsmi bhūtānām asmi chetanā

ଅର୍ଥ:Among the Vedas, I am the Sama-Veda; among the gods, I am Vasava (Indra); among the senses, I am the mind; and among living beings, I am consciousness.

Chant this verse calmly, dwelling especially on the closing words 'bhutanam asmi chetana' — 'among living beings I am consciousness.' Let the mind settle into the simple awareness that knows all experience, and recognize it as the presence of the Lord. This verse is a fine bridge from devotion to meditation, leading the chanter inward to the consciousness that is God's own light.

ବାରମ୍ବାର ପଚରାଯାଉଥିବା ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ

ଏହି ପୃଷ୍ଠାରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ Bhagavad Gita 10.22 — Vedanam Sama-Vedo 'smi ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଲିପିରେ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି — ସେହି ମୂଳ ଶ୍ଳୋକ, ଅକ୍ଷର-ଅକ୍ଷର ଲିପ୍ୟନ୍ତରିତ, ଯାହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଆପଣ ସହଜରେ ପଢ଼ି ଜପ କରିପାରିବେ। ଯେକୌଣସି ଧାଡ଼ି (କିମ୍ବା ▶ ବଟନ୍) ଛୁଇଁ ତାହାର ପାଠ ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ।
ହଁ — କେବଳ ଲିପି ବଦଳେ; ଶବ୍ଦ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅର୍ଥ ମୂଳ ହିଁ ରହେ। ଏହି ପୃଷ୍ଠାର ଶ୍ଳୋକ-ଶ୍ଳୋକ ଅର୍ଥ, ଲାଭ ଓ ପାଠ ବିଧି ସମାନ ଭାବେ ପ୍ରଯୁଜ୍ୟ।
Krishna continues describing his divine glories: he is the Sama-Veda among the Vedas, Indra among the gods, the mind among the senses, and consciousness among living beings. The verse reveals God both in the most glorious outer things and as the awareness within every creature.
The Sama-Veda is the most musical of the four Vedas, its verses meant to be sung. By naming it, Krishna identifies himself with the sweetness and devotion of sacred song, showing that melodious worship is especially dear to him.
It means the very faculty of awareness — the power by which we know and experience anything — is a manifestation of the Lord. This points seekers inward, revealing that God is closer than the senses, as the consciousness that is our own deepest nature.
Whenever you notice yourself thinking, sensing, or simply being aware, gently remember that this awareness is a spark of the Divine. Listening to or singing sacred music with this verse in mind also deepens devotion, as the Sama-Veda is the Lord's own song.
