In the eleventh chapter, Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga, after Krishna promises to reveal His divine majesty and grants Arjuna the divine eye, Sanjaya tells Dhritarashtra of the pivotal moment: the great Lord of Yoga, Hari, showed Arjuna His supreme, majestic universal form — the revelation that defines the chapter.

✦ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ କୁହାଯାଇଥିବା ପରି

Tradition holds that in this supreme form Krishna displayed the whole of creation contained within Himself, a vision of such majesty that it could be beheld only through the divine eye and by the grace of the great Lord of Yoga.

ଯେକୌଣସି ଧାଡ଼ି କିମ୍ବା ▶ ବଟନ୍ ଛୁଇଁ ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ

ସଞ୍ଜଯ ଉଵାଚ ଏଵମୁକ୍ତ୍ଵା ତତୋ ରାଜନ୍ମହାଯୋଗେଶ୍ଵରୋ ହରିଃ। ଦର୍ଶଯାମାସ ପାର୍ଥାଯ ପରମଂ ରୂପମୈଶ୍ଵରମ୍॥

sañjaya uvācha evam uktvā tato rājan mahā-yogeśhvaro hariḥ darśhayām āsa pārthāya paramaṁ rūpam aiśhwaram

ଅର୍ଥ:Sanjaya said: Having spoken thus, O King, Hari, the great Lord of Yoga, then revealed to Arjuna His supreme, majestic form.

ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଯେକୌଣସି ଶବ୍ଦରେ କ୍ଲିକ୍ କରନ୍ତୁ

Chant this verse as the gateway to contemplating Krishna's universal form. ବାରମ୍ବାର ପଚରାଯାଉଥିବା ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ

ଏହି ପୃଷ୍ଠାରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ Bhagavad Gita 11.9 — Evam Uktva Tato Rajan ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଲିପିରେ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି — ସେହି ମୂଳ ଶ୍ଳୋକ, ଅକ୍ଷର-ଅକ୍ଷର ଲିପ୍ୟନ୍ତରିତ, ଯାହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଆପଣ ସହଜରେ ପଢ଼ି ଜପ କରିପାରିବେ। ଯେକୌଣସି ଧାଡ଼ି (କିମ୍ବା ▶ ବଟନ୍) ଛୁଇଁ ତାହାର ପାଠ ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ।
ହଁ — କେବଳ ଲିପି ବଦଳେ; ଶବ୍ଦ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅର୍ଥ ମୂଳ ହିଁ ରହେ। ଏହି ପୃଷ୍ଠାର ଶ୍ଳୋକ-ଶ୍ଳୋକ ଅର୍ଥ, ଲାଭ ଓ ପାଠ ବିଧି ସମାନ ଭାବେ ପ୍ରଯୁଜ୍ୟ।
Sanjaya narrates to King Dhritarashtra that, having spoken, Krishna — the great Lord of Yoga — revealed to Arjuna His supreme, majestic universal form. It is the moment the cosmic vision of the eleventh chapter begins.
'Maha-yogeshvara' means the great Lord of Yoga. The title highlights that it is by His divine, mysterious power of yoga that Krishna can manifest the entire cosmos within His form and reveal it to Arjuna.
Sanjaya narrates it to the blind king Dhritarashtra. Granted divine sight by Veda Vyasa, Sanjaya describes the events on the battlefield, including this revelation of the universal form, to the king who could not see them himself.
