It is recited by Vaishnavas as a heartfelt appeal for protection and grace.

ಅರ್ಥ:O Krishna, O Krishna, great Lord of Yoga! O bestower of fearlessness upon Your devotees! O Govinda, O embodiment of supreme bliss — please bring everything into harmony and favour for me.

Sit before an image of Sri Krishna and chant the verse with sincere surrender, dwelling on 'bhaktanam abhayankara' — He who removes the fear of His devotees. It may be repeated as japa (11, 27 or 108 times) when seeking protection and the resolving of difficulties, or simply offered once with full faith before any undertaking.

It addresses Krishna as the great Yogi (Mahayogin) and the bestower of fearlessness to His devotees (bhaktanam abhayankara), as Govinda and as supreme bliss (paramananda), praying 'sarvam me vasham anaya' — please bring everything into favour for me.
It is especially chanted in times of fear, danger or difficulty, as a prayer of surrender and protection. It can also be recited daily in the morning or evening to invoke Krishna's grace before any important task.
Krishna is the supreme master of yoga and all mystic power (yogeshvara). Calling Him Mahayogin acknowledges that nothing is beyond His power to arrange, which is why the devotee asks Him to make everything favourable.
It is a humble request that the Lord bring everything into harmony and favour for the devotee — not selfish control, but trust that whatever Krishna ordains for the surrendered soul will be for the highest good.
