The Yati Panchakam (Kaupina Panchakam) is traditionally ascribed to Adi Shankaracharya. Adi Shankaracharya’s five verses on the bliss of the renunciate — "ever delighting in the words of Vedanta, content with whatever alms come, wandering free of sorrow… truly blessed are they who wear but a loincloth (kaupina)."
