The Siddha Kunjika Stotram is presented as a dialogue between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Parvati asks Shiva about the easiest way to obtain the full fruit of the Durga Saptashati (700 verses of Devi Mahatmyam from the Markandeya Purana). Shiva reveals this 'secret key' — a concentrated essence of all the power of the Saptashati in a single stotra. He emphasizes its secrecy, saying it should be guarded as carefully as one's own deepest secret, and that even the gods find it rare.

The Durga Saptashati (Chandi Path) is one of the most powerful texts in Hinduism — it is said that its complete recitation during Navratri can fulfill any desire. However, the full recitation requires elaborate preparations (Kavach, Argala, Keelakam, Nyasa, etc.) that take hours. Lord Shiva revealed the Kunjika as a shortcut that contains the ENTIRE power of the Saptashati in concentrated form. Devotees across India testify that during Navratri, chanting just the Kunjika Stotra with intense devotion has resolved seemingly impossible problems — court cases, health crises, financial ruin, and relationship breakdowns.

અર્થ:शिव बोले: हे देवी! सुनो, मैं परम कुञ्जिका स्तोत्र कहता हूँ, जिसके प्रभाव से दुर्गा-पाठ सफल होता है।
ન કવચં નાર્ગલાસ્તોત્રં કીલકં ન રહસ્યકમ્। ન સૂક્તં નાપિ ધ્યાનં ચ ન ન્યાસો ન ચ વાર્ચનમ્॥

અર્થ:न कवच, न अर्गला स्तोत्र, न कीलक, न रहस्य और न सूक्त (पढ़ने की आवश्यकता है) —
કુઞ્જિકાપાઠમાત્રેણ દુર્ગાપાઠફલં લભેત્। અતિ ગુહ્યતરં દેવિ દેવાનામપિ દુર્લભમ્॥

અર્થ:केवल कुञ्जिका के पाठ मात्र से सम्पूर्ण दुर्गा-पाठ का फल प्राप्त हो जाता है; यह अति गुह्य है।
ગોપનીયં પ્રયત્નેન સ્વયોનિરિવ પાર્વતિ। મારણં મોહનં વશ્યં સ્તમ્ભનોચ્ચાટનાદિકમ્। પાઠમાત્રેણ સંસિદ્ધ્યેત્ કુઞ્જિકાસ્તોત્રમુત્તમમ્॥

અર્થ:हे पार्वती! इसे अपने गर्भ की भाँति यत्नपूर्वक गुप्त रखना चाहिए; इससे मारण, मोहन आदि सब (सिद्धियाँ) सध जाती हैं।

અર્થ:'ऐं' तुम्हारा सृष्टि-रूप है, 'ह्रीं' पालन-रूप, 'क्लीं' कामना-रूप — इन बीजों में तुम विराजमान हो।
ચામુણ્ડા ચણ્ડઘાતી ચ યૈકારી વરદાયિની। વિચ્ચે ચાભયદા નિત્યં નમસ્તે મન્ત્રરૂપિણિ॥

અર્થ:धां धीं धूं — हे धूर्जटि (शिव) की पत्नी! वां वीं वूं — हे वाणी की अधीश्वरी! (ये बीजमन्त्र देवी के स्वरूप हैं)।
હું હું હુંકારરૂપિણ્યૈ જં જં જં જમ્ભનાદિની। ભ્રાં ભ્રીં ભ્રૂં ભૈરવી ભદ્રે ભવાન્યૈ તે નમો નમઃ॥

This stotra is traditionally chanted BEFORE reading the Durga Saptashati (Chandi Path). Lord Shiva tells Parvati that by chanting just this stotra, one gets the complete fruit of the entire 700-verse Saptashati — without needing the Kavach, Argala, Keelakam or any other preparation. Sit before Durga's image. Light a ghee diya. Chant with intense focus and devotion. The bija mantras (Aim, Hreem, Kleem) should be pronounced precisely. During Navratri, chant daily for 9 days.
