"Om Han Hanumate Namah" is the seed mantra of Lord Hanuman — the mighty son of the wind, the supreme devotee of Sri Rama and the remover of all troubles (Sankat Mochan). His beej "Han" carries the very vibration of strength and fearless protection. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, and in every moment of fear or difficulty, devotees chant this mantra to call upon Bajrangbali's courage, power and ever-watchful protection.

After a bath, sit before an image of Lord Hanuman with sindoor, red flowers and a lamp of sesame (til) oil. Chant "Om Han Hanumate Namah" 108 times on a red or tulsi mala, invoking Bajrangbali's strength and protection. Tuesdays and Saturdays are his special days. Recite it for courage, protection from fear and enemies, and relief from the troubles of Shani, alongside the Hanuman Chalisa.
