For twenty-eight ages He has stood upon the brick, with Rakhumai (Rukmini) on His left, appearing in divine splendour. To meet His devotee Pundalik the Supreme Brahman Himself has come; at His feet flows the Bhima (Chandrabhaga), and He redeems the world.

We wave the aartis; the kuravandi (auspicious offerings) are brought and released into the Chandrabhaga. With dindis and banners the Vaishnavas dance — how can the glory of Pandhari ever be told in full?
