In wonder at the cosmic form, Arjuna adores Krishna as the father of the entire universe of moving and unmoving beings, the supremely worshipful one, and the greatest of all teachers. He declares that in all the three worlds there is none even equal to the Lord, let alone greater. This soaring verse of praise expresses Krishna's absolute supremacy and His tender role as the father and guru of all creation.

In the eleventh chapter, Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga, after beholding the awe-inspiring universal form, Arjuna offers a stream of praise to Krishna.
