This verse belongs to the cherished tradition of Lakshmi pranama-mantras offered at the close of Her worship. By saluting the Goddess as the giver of boons to all the gods and the beloved of Vishnu, and by asking for the same refuge She grants to Her surrendered devotees, the worshipper rises above the mere request for wealth to seek the Mother's supreme grace. It is widely recited during Lakshmi puja and Diwali.

ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ

Devotees hold that Lakshmi, the bestower of boons even to the gods, withholds nothing from those who take refuge in Her with love; many recount that sincere worship sealed with this prayer brought not only prosperity but lasting peace and the sense of being sheltered by the Divine Mother.

ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಾಲನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ▶ ಬಟನ್ ಒತ್ತಿ ಕೇಳಿ

ನಮಸ್ತೇ ಸರ್ವದೇವಾನಾಂ ವರದಾಸಿ ಹರೇಃ ಪ್ರಿಯೇ ಯಾ ಗತಿಸ್ತ್ವತ್ಪ್ರಪನ್ನಾನಾಂ ಸಾ ಮೇ ಭೂಯಾತ್ ತ್ವದರ್ಚನಾತ್

Namaste sarva-devanam varada'si hareh priye Ya gatis tvat-prapannanam sa me bhuyat tvad-archanat

ಅರ್ಥ:Salutations to You, the bestower of boons upon all the gods, O beloved of Hari (Vishnu)! That supreme refuge which is attained by those who surrender to You — may that same refuge become mine through my worship of You.

Recite this verse with folded hands before an image of Goddess Lakshmi, offering pranama. It is especially chanted while performing Lakshmi puja, on Diwali, and on Fridays. Chant it once or three times with sincere devotion, seeking not merely wealth but the supreme refuge that the Mother grants to those who surrender to Her.

ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಕೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು

ಈ ಪುಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ Namaste Sarvadevanam Varadasi ಕನ್ನಡ ಲಿಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ — ಅವೇ ಮೂಲ ಶ್ಲೋಕಗಳು, ಅಕ್ಷರ-ಅಕ್ಷರ ಲಿಪ್ಯಂತರಗೊಂಡು, ನೀವು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಓದಿ ಪಠಿಸಬಹುದು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಾಲನ್ನು (ಅಥವಾ ▶ ಬಟನ್) ಒತ್ತಿ ಅದರ ಪಠಣ ಕೇಳಿ.
ಹೌದು — ಲಿಪಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಪದಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಅರ್ಥ ಮೂಲವೇ. ಈ ಪುಟದ ಶ್ಲೋಕ-ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಅರ್ಥ, ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳು, ಪಾರಾಯಣ ವಿಧಿ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
It means 'Salutations to You, the bestower of boons upon all the gods, O beloved of Hari (Vishnu).' It honours Goddess Lakshmi as the source of blessings for even the deities and as the cherished consort of Lord Vishnu.
The devotee prays 'ya gatis tvat-prapannanam sa me bhuyat tvad-archanat' — may that same supreme refuge which You grant to those who surrender to You be attained by me through worship of You. It seeks the highest spiritual shelter, not merely material gain.
It is recited as a pranama to Lakshmi during daily worship, on Fridays, during Lakshmi puja, on Diwali and Akshaya Tritiya, and whenever one seeks the Goddess's grace and refuge.
Hareh Priye means 'beloved of Hari (Vishnu).' Lakshmi is the eternal consort of Lord Vishnu, inseparable from Him, and is approached as the gracious Mother through whom the Lord's blessings flow to all beings.
