Meaning:I bow to Lord Shiva, the lord of the universe, who helps cross the ocean of hell, whose words are nectar, adorned with the crescent moon, white as camphor radiance, with matted locks — who BURNS AWAY POVERTY AND SUFFERING.
गौरीप्रियाय रजनीशकलाधराय कालान्तकाय भुजगाधिपकंकणाय। गंगाधराय गजराजविमर्दनाय दारिद्र्यदुःखदहनाय नमः शिवाय॥
