ശ്രീദേവ്യുവാച - പ്രഭോ ശ്രീഭൈരവശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദയാലോ ഭക്തവത്സല। ഭുവനേശീസ്തവം ബ്രൂഹി യദ്യഹം തവ വല്ലഭാ॥൧॥
Śrīdevyuvāca - Prabho śrībhairavaśreṣṭha dayālo bhaktavatsala। bhuvaneśīstavaṁ brūhi yady ahaṁ tava vallabhā॥1॥
അർഥം:The Goddess said: O Lord, best of the Bhairavas, compassionate one, lover of devotees, if I am dear to you, tell me a hymn of praise to Bhuvaneshwari.
ഈശ്വര ഉവാച - ശൃണു ദേവി പ്രവക്ഷ്യാമി ഭുവനേശ്യഷ്ടകം ശുഭമ്। യേന വിജ്ഞാതമാത്രേണ ത്രൈലോക്യമങ്ഗലം ഭവേത്॥൨॥
Īśvara uvāca - Śṛṇu devi pravakṣyāmi bhuvaneśyaṣṭakaṁ śubham। yena vijñātamātreṇa trailokyamaṅgalaṁ bhavet॥2॥
അർഥം:The Lord said: Listen, O Goddess, I shall declare the auspicious Bhuvaneshwari Ashtakam, by the mere knowing of which welfare comes to the three worlds.
ഓം നമാമി ജഗദാധാരാം ഭുവനേശീം ഭവപ്രിയാമ്। ഭുക്തിമുക്തിപ്രദാം രമ്യാം രമണീയാം ശുഭാവഹാമ്॥൩॥
Oṁ namāmi jagadādhārāṁ bhuvaneśīṁ bhavapriyām। bhuktimuktipradāṁ ramyāṁ ramaṇīyāṁ śubhāvahām॥3॥
അർഥം:Om. I bow to her who is the support of the world, Bhuvaneshwari, beloved of Shiva, giver of enjoyment and liberation, lovely, delightful and bringer of all good.
ത്വം സ്വാഹാ ത്വം സ്വധാ ദേവി ത്വം യജ്ഞാ യജ്ഞനായികാ। ത്വം നാഥാ ത്വം തമോഹര്ത്രീ വ്യാപ്യവ്യാപകവര്ജിതാ॥൪॥
Tvaṁ svāhā tvaṁ svadhā devi tvaṁ yajñā yajñanāyikā। tvaṁ nāthā tvaṁ tamohartrī vyāpyavyāpakavarjitā॥4॥
അർഥം:You are Svaha and Svadha, O Goddess; you are the sacrifice and the mistress of the sacrifice; you are the protector, the remover of darkness, free from both the pervaded and the pervader.
ത്വമാധാരസ്ത്വമിജ്യാ ച ജ്ഞാനജ്ഞേയം പരം പദമ്। ത്വം ശിവസ്ത്വം സ്വയം വിഷ്ണുസ്ത്വമാത്മാ പരമോഽവ്യയഃ॥൫॥
Tvam ādhāras tvam ijyā ca jñānajñeyaṁ paraṁ padam। tvaṁ śivas tvaṁ svayaṁ viṣṇus tvam ātmā paramo'vyayaḥ॥5॥
അർഥം:You are the foundation and you are the act of worship; you are knowledge, the object of knowledge and the supreme state; you are Shiva, you are Vishnu himself, you are the supreme, imperishable Self.
ത്വം കാരണം ച കാര്യം ച ലക്ഷ്മീസ്ത്വം ച ഹുതാശനഃ। ത്വം സോമസ്ത്വം രവിഃ കാലസ്ത്വം ധാതാ ത്വം ച മാരുതഃ॥൬॥
Tvaṁ kāraṇaṁ ca kāryaṁ ca lakṣmīs tvaṁ ca hutāśanaḥ। tvaṁ somas tvaṁ raviḥ kālas tvaṁ dhātā tvaṁ ca mārutaḥ॥6॥
അർഥം:You are both cause and effect; you are Lakshmi and you are the fire; you are the moon, the sun and Time; you are the Creator (Dhata) and you are the wind.
ഗായത്രീ ത്വം ച സാവിത്രീ ത്വം മായാ ത്വം ഹരിപ്രിയാ। ത്വമേവൈകാ പരാശക്തിസ്ത്വമേവ ഗുരുരൂപധൃക്॥൭॥
Gāyatrī tvaṁ ca sāvitrī tvaṁ māyā tvaṁ haripriyā। tvam evaikā parāśaktis tvam eva gururūpadhṛk॥7॥
അർഥം:You are Gayatri and Savitri; you are Maya and the beloved of Hari; you alone are the one Supreme Power; you alone take the form of the Guru.
ത്വം കാലാ ത്വം കലാതീതാ ത്വമേവ ജഗതാം ശ്രിയഃ। ത്വം സര്വകാര്യം സര്വസ്യ കാരണം കരുണാമയി॥൮॥
Tvaṁ kālā tvaṁ kalātītā tvam eva jagatāṁ śriyaḥ। tvaṁ sarvakāryaṁ sarvasya kāraṇaṁ karuṇāmayi॥8॥
അർഥം:You are Time and yet beyond all division of time; you alone are the splendour of the worlds; you are every effect and the cause of all, O compassionate one.
ഇദമഷ്ടകമാദ്യായാ ഭുവനേശ്യാ വരാനനേ। ത്രിസന്ധ്യം ശ്രദ്ധയാ മര്ത്യോ യഃ പഠേത് പ്രീതമാനസഃ॥൯॥
Idam aṣṭakam ādyāyā bhuvaneśyā varānane। trisandhyaṁ śraddhayā martyo yaḥ paṭhet prītamānasaḥ॥9॥
അർഥം:This is the Ashtakam of the primordial Bhuvaneshwari, O fair-faced Goddess. The mortal who, with a loving heart and faith, recites it at the three twilights — for him the siddhis come under control, prosperity is at his command in the home, and even kings come under his sway by the power of this hymn. Ghosts, goblins, evil spirits and malefic planets do not even look toward his direction. Whatever desire the devotee with a loving heart wishes for, that he obtains by the grace of Bhuvaneshwari. There is no hymn equal to this in the three worlds; it grants every prosperity and is the purifier of even the pure. By accomplishing this excellent hymn, O fair-faced one, riches come under one's command through the grace of Bhuvaneshwari.
സിദ്ധയോ വശഗാസ്തസ്യ സമ്പദോ വശഗാ ഗൃഹേ। രാജാനോ വശമായാന്തി സ്തോത്രസ്യാസ്യ പ്രഭാവതഃ॥൧൦॥
Siddhayo vaśagās tasya sampado vaśagā gṛhe। rājāno vaśam āyānti stotrasyāsya prabhāvataḥ॥10॥
ഭൂതപ്രേതപിശാചാദ്യാ നേക്ഷന്തേ താം ദിശം ഗ്രഹാഃ। യം യം കാമം പ്രവാഞ്ഛേത സാധകഃ പ്രീതമാനസഃ॥൧൧॥
Bhūtapretapiśācādyā nekṣante tāṁ diśaṁ grahāḥ। yaṁ yaṁ kāmaṁ pravāñcheta sādhakaḥ prītamānasaḥ॥11॥
തം തമാപ്നോതി കൃപയാ ഭുവനേശ്യാ വരാനനേ। അനേന സദൃശം സ്തോത്രം ന സമം ഭുവനത്രയേ॥൧൨॥
Taṁ tam āpnoti kṛpayā bhuvaneśyā varānane। anena sadṛśaṁ stotraṁ na samaṁ bhuvanatraye॥12॥
സര്വസമ്പത്പ്രദമിദം പാവനാനാം ച പാവനമ്। അനേന സ്തോത്രവര്യേണ സാധിതേന വരാനനേ। സമ്പദോ വശമായാന്തി ഭുവനേശ്യാഃ പ്രസാദതഃ॥൧൩॥
Sarvasampatpradam idaṁ pāvanānāṁ ca pāvanam। anena stotravaryeṇa sādhitena varānane। sampado vaśam āyānti bhuvaneśyāḥ prasādataḥ॥13॥
