అర్థం:Whoever meditates upon you night and day — there is no devotee equal to them.
ధ్యాన ధరేం శివజీ మన మాంహీ। బ్రహ్మా, ఇన్ద్ర పార నహీం పాహీం॥
Dhyana dharem shivaji mana mamhi Brahma, indra para nahim pahim
అర్థం:Shiva himself holds your meditation in his heart; even Brahma and Indra cannot reach your limit.
దూత తుమ్హార వీర హనుమానా। జాసు ప్రభావ తిహుం పుర జానా॥
Duta tumhara vira hanumana Jasu prabhava tihum pura jana
అర్థం:Your messenger is the hero Hanuman, whose might is known throughout the three worlds.
జయ, జయ, జయ రఘునాథ కృపాలా। సదా కరో సంతన ప్రతిపాలా॥
Jaya, jaya, jaya raghunatha kripala Sada karo samtana pratipala
అర్థం:Victory, victory, victory, O compassionate Raghunatha; ever protect the saints.
తువ భుజదణ్డ ప్రచణ్డ కృపాలా। రావణ మారి సురన ప్రతిపాలా॥
Tuva bhujadanda prachanda kripala Ravana mari surana pratipala
అర్థం:Your mighty arms are fierce, O merciful one; slaying Ravana, you protected the gods.
తుమ అనాథ కే నాథ గోసాఈం। దీనన కే హో సదా సహాఈ॥
Tuma anatha ke natha gosaim Dinana ke ho sada sahai
అర్థం:You are the Lord of the orphaned, O Master; ever the helper of the lowly.
బ్రహ్మాదిక తవ పార న పావైం। సదా ఈశ తుమ్హరో యశ గావైం॥
Brahmadika tava para na pavaim Sada isha tumharo yasha gavaim
అర్థం:Brahma and the gods cannot find your limit; ever, O Lord, they sing your glory.
చారిఉ భేద భరత హైం సాఖీ। తుమ భక్తన కీ లజ్జా రాఖీ॥
Chariu bheda bharata haim sakhi Tuma bhaktana ki lajja rakhi
అర్థం:The four Vedas bear witness; you preserve the honour of your devotees.
గుణ గావత శారద మన మాహీం। సురపతి తాకో పార న పాహిం॥
Guna gavata sharada mana mahim Surapati tako para na pahim
అర్థం:Sharada (Saraswati) sings your virtues in her heart, yet even Indra cannot reach your end.
నామ తుమ్హార లేత జో కోఈ। తా సమ ధన్య ఔర నహీం హోఈ॥
Nama tumhara leta jo koi Ta sama dhanya aura nahim hoi
అర్థం:Whoever takes your name — none is more blessed than they.
రామ నామ హై అపరమ్పారా। చారిహు వేదన జాహి పుకారా॥
Rama nama hai aparampara Charihu vedana jahi pukara
అర్థం:The name of Rama is boundless; all four Vedas proclaim it.
గణపతి నామ తుమ్హారో లీన్హో। తినకో ప్రథమ పూజ్య తుమ కీన్హో॥
Ganapati nama tumharo linho Tinako prathama pujya tuma kinho
అర్థం:You took on the name of Ganapati (Ganesha) and made him the first to be worshipped.
శేష రటత నిత నామ తుమ్హారా। మహి కో భార శీశ పర ధారా॥
Shesha ratata nita nama tumhara Mahi ko bhara shisha para dhara
అర్థం:Shesha (the serpent) ever repeats your name, bearing the burden of the earth upon his head.
ఫూల సమాన రహత సో భారా। పావత కోఊ న తుమ్హరో పారా॥
Phula samana rahata so bhara Pavata kou na tumharo para
అర్థం:That burden rests as light as a flower for him; yet no one finds your limit.
భరత నామ తుమ్హరో ఉర ధారో। తాసోం కబహూం న రణ మేం హారో॥
Bharata nama tumharo ura dharo Tasom kabahum na rana mem haro
అర్థం:Hold the name of Bharata in your heart, and you will never be defeated in battle.
నామ శత్రుహన హృదయ ప్రకాశా। సుమిరత హోత శత్రు కర నాశా॥
Nama shatruhana hridaya prakasha Sumirata hota shatru kara nasha
అర్థం:The name of Shatrughna shines in the heart; remembering it, the enemy is destroyed.
లఖన తుమ్హారే ఆజ్ఞాకారీ। సదా కరత సన్తన రఖవారీ॥
Lakhana tumhare ajnakari Sada karata santana rakhavari
అర్థం:Lakshmana is obedient to you, ever guarding the saints.
తాతే రణ జీతే నహిం కోఈ। యుద్ధ జురే యమహూం కిన హోఈ॥
Tate rana jite nahim koi Yuddha jure yamahum kina hoi
అర్థం:Therefore none can win against them in battle, even were Yama himself to join the fight.
మహాలక్ష్మీ ధర అవతారా। సబ విధి కరత పాప కో ఛారా॥
Mahalakshmi dhara avatara Saba vidhi karata papa ko chhara
అర్థం:Mahalakshmi took incarnation (as Sita) and in every way reduced sin to ashes.
సీతా రామ పునీతా గాయో। భువనేశ్వరీ ప్రభావ దిఖాయో॥
Sita rama punita gayo Bhuvaneshvari prabhava dikhayo
అర్థం:Sita and Rama were sung as purifiers; she showed the power of Bhuvaneshwari.
ఘట సోం ప్రకట భఈ సో ఆఈ। జాకో దేఖత చన్ద్ర లజాఈ॥
Ghata som prakata bhai so ai Jako dekhata chandra lajai
అర్థం:She appeared from the earth (a pot), at whose sight even the moon felt shy.
జో తుమ్హరే నిత పాంవ పలోటత। నవో నిద్ధి చరణన మేం లోటత॥
Jo tumhare nita pamva palotata Navo niddhi charanana mem lotata
అర్థం:Those who ever press your feet — the nine treasures roll at their feet.
సిద్ధి అఠారహ మంగలకారీ। సో తుమ పర జావై బలిహారీ॥
Siddhi atharaha mamgalakari So tuma para javai balihari
అర్థం:The eighteen auspicious siddhis are ever sacrificed in devotion to you.
ఔరహు జో అనేక ప్రభుతాఈ। సో సీతాపతి తుమహిం బనాఈ॥
Aurahu jo aneka prabhutai So sitapati tumahim banai
అర్థం:And whatever other glories exist, O Lord of Sita, you have created them all.
ఇచ్ఛా తే కోటిన సంసారా। రచత న లాగత పల కీ బారా॥
Ichchha te kotina samsara Rachata na lagata pala ki bara
అర్థం:By your mere wish, millions of universes are made in less than a moment.
జో తుమ్హరే చరణన చిత లావై। తాకీ ముక్తి అవసి హో జావై॥
Jo tumhare charanana chita lavai Taki mukti avasi ho javai
అర్థం:Whoever fixes the mind upon your feet surely attains liberation.
సునహు రామ తుమ తాత హమారే। తుమహిం భరత కుల పూజ్య ప్రచారే॥
Sunahu rama tuma tata hamare Tumahim bharata kula pujya prachare
అర్థం:Hear me, O Rama, you are our father; you are proclaimed worthy of worship in Bharata's line.
తుమహిం దేవ కుల దేవ హమారే। తుమ గురు దేవ ప్రాణ కే ప్యారే॥
Tumahim deva kula deva hamare Tuma guru deva prana ke pyare
అర్థం:You are the deity of our family of gods; you are our Guru, beloved as our very life.
జో కుఛ హో సో తుమహిం రాజా। జయ జయ జయ ప్రభు రాఖో లాజా॥
Jo kuchha ho so tumahim raja Jaya jaya jaya prabhu rakho laja
అర్థం:Whatever there is, all is yours, O King; victory, victory, victory, O Lord — preserve our honour.
రామ ఆత్మా పోషణ హారే। జయ జయ జయ దశరథ కే ప్యారే॥
Rama atma poshana hare Jaya jaya jaya dasharatha ke pyare
అర్థం:O Rama, nourisher of the soul; victory, victory, victory, O beloved of Dasharatha.
జయ జయ జయ ప్రభు జ్యోతి స్వరుపా। నర్గుణ బ్రహృ అఖణ్డ అనూపా॥
Jaya jaya jaya prabhu jyoti svarupa Narguna brahri akhanda anupa
అర్థం:Victory, victory, O Lord of the form of pure light; the attributeless Brahman, unbroken and matchless.
సత్య సత్య జయ సత్యవ్రత స్వామీ। సత్య సనాతన అన్తర్యామీ॥
Satya satya jaya satyavrata svami Satya sanatana antaryami
అర్థం:Truly, truly, victory, O Lord true to your vow; the eternal Truth, the inner controller of all.
సత్య భజన తుమ్హరో జో గావై। సో నిశ్చయ చారోం ఫల పావై॥
Satya bhajana tumharo jo gavai So nishchaya charom phala pavai
అర్థం:Whoever sings your true praise surely obtains all four fruits of life.
సత్య శపథ గౌరీపతి కీన్హీం। తుమనే భక్తిహిం సబ సిధి దీన్హీం॥
Satya shapatha gauripati kinhim Tumane bhaktihim saba sidhi dinhim
అర్థం:Gauri's Lord (Shiva) took a true oath: you bestow every perfection through devotion.
జ్ఞాన హృదయ దో జ్ఞాన స్వరుపా। నమో నమో జయ జగపతి భూపా॥
Jnana hridaya do jnana svarupa Namo namo jaya jagapati bhupa
అర్థం:Grant knowledge to my heart, O embodiment of knowledge; salutations, salutations, victory, O Lord of the world.
ధన్య ధన్య తుమ ధన్య ప్రతాపా। నామ తుమ్హార హరత సంతాపా॥
Dhanya dhanya tuma dhanya pratapa Nama tumhara harata samtapa
అర్థం:Blessed, blessed, blessed is your majesty; your name removes all affliction.
సత్య శుద్ధ దేవన ముఖ గాయా। బజీ దున్దుభీ శంఖ బజాయా॥
Satya shuddha devana mukha gaya Baji dundubhi shamkha bajaya
అర్థం:The true, pure praise was sung from the mouths of the gods; kettledrums sounded and conches were blown.
సత్య సత్య తుమ సత్య సనాతన। తుమ హీ హో హమరే తన-మన ధన॥
Satya satya tuma satya sanatana Tuma hi ho hamare tana-mana dhana
అర్థం:Truly, truly you are the eternal Truth; you alone are our body, mind and wealth.
యాకో పాఠ కరే జో కోఈ। జ్ఞాన ప్రకట తాకే ఉర హోఈ॥
Yako patha kare jo koi Jnana prakata take ura hoi
అర్థం:Whoever recites this — knowledge arises clearly in their heart.
ఆవాగమన మిటై తిహి కేరా। సత్య వచన మానే శివ మేరా॥
Avagamana mitai tihi kera Satya vachana mane shiva mera
అర్థం:Their cycle of birth and death is ended — Shiva himself accepts this as true.
ఔర ఆస మన మేం జో హోఈ। మనవాంఛిత ఫల పావే సోఈ॥
Aura asa mana mem jo hoi Manavamchhita phala pave soi
అర్థం:And whatever other hope is in the mind, that very wish is fulfilled.
తీనహుం కాల ధ్యాన జో ల్యావై। తులసీ దల అరు ఫూల చఢ़ావై॥
Tinahum kala dhyana jo lyavai Tulasi dala aru phula chadha़avai
అర్థం:Whoever brings your meditation at all three times of day, and offers tulsi leaves and flowers —
సాగ పత్ర సో భోగ లగావై। సో నర సకల సిద్ధతా పావై॥
Saga patra so bhoga lagavai So nara sakala siddhata pavai
అర్థం:— and offers a simple food of greens — that person attains complete perfection.
అన్త సమయ రఘుబర పుర జాఈ। జహాం జన్మ హరి భక్త కహాఈ॥
Anta samaya raghubara pura jai Jaham janma hari bhakta kahai
అర్థం:At the final hour they go to Rama's abode, where they are born as a devotee of Hari.
శ్రీ హరిదాస కహై అరు గావై। సో బైకుణ్ఠ ధామ కో పావై॥
Shri haridasa kahai aru gavai So baikuntha dhama ko pavai
అర్థం:So says and sings Sri Haridas; that one attains the abode of Vaikuntha.
సాత దివస జో నేమ కర,పాఠ కరే చిత లాయ। హరిదాస హరి కృపా సే,అవసి భక్తి కో పాయ॥
Sata divasa jo nema kara,patha kare chita laya Haridasa hari kripa se,avasi bhakti ko paya
అర్థం:Whoever, with a focused mind, keeps the discipline for seven days and recites it — by Hari's grace Haridas (the devotee) surely attains devotion.
రామ చాలీసా జో పఢ़ే,రామ చరణ చిత లాయ। జో ఇచ్ఛా మన మేం కరై,సకల సిద్ధ హో జాయ॥
Rama chalisa jo padha़e,rama charana chita laya Jo ichchha mana mem karai,sakala siddha ho jaya
అర్థం:Whoever reads the Ram Chalisa, fixing the mind on Rama's feet — whatever wish is in the mind, all is fulfilled.

Daily recitation of the Ram Chalisa invokes the grace of Lord Rama (Maryada Purushottam) for protection, victory and righteousness.
Said to remove fear, enemies and obstacles, and to grant peace, prosperity and devotion.

Especially powerful on Ram Navami, Tuesdays, and during Ramayana / Sundarkand recitation.

Ram Chalisa పారాయణ విధి
After bathing, sit before an image of Sri Rama (with Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman). Light a lamp, offer tulsi leaves and flowers, and recite the Chalisa with the mind fixed on Rama's lotus feet. The text recommends a focused seven-day observance for devotion. Conclude with 'Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram' and aarti.
