Nishi dina dhyana dharai jo koi Ta sama bhakta aura nahim hoi
അർഥം:Whoever meditates upon you night and day — there is no devotee equal to them.
ധ്യാന ധരേം ശിവജീ മന മാംഹീ। ബ്രഹ്മാ, ഇന്ദ്ര പാര നഹീം പാഹീം॥
Dhyana dharem shivaji mana mamhi Brahma, indra para nahim pahim
അർഥം:Shiva himself holds your meditation in his heart; even Brahma and Indra cannot reach your limit.
ദൂത തുമ്ഹാര വീര ഹനുമാനാ। ജാസു പ്രഭാവ തിഹും പുര ജാനാ॥
Duta tumhara vira hanumana Jasu prabhava tihum pura jana
അർഥം:Your messenger is the hero Hanuman, whose might is known throughout the three worlds.
ജയ, ജയ, ജയ രഘുനാഥ കൃപാലാ। സദാ കരോ സംതന പ്രതിപാലാ॥
Jaya, jaya, jaya raghunatha kripala Sada karo samtana pratipala
അർഥം:Victory, victory, victory, O compassionate Raghunatha; ever protect the saints.
തുവ ഭുജദണ്ഡ പ്രചണ്ഡ കൃപാലാ। രാവണ മാരി സുരന പ്രതിപാലാ॥
Tuva bhujadanda prachanda kripala Ravana mari surana pratipala
അർഥം:Your mighty arms are fierce, O merciful one; slaying Ravana, you protected the gods.
തുമ അനാഥ കേ നാഥ ഗോസാഈം। ദീനന കേ ഹോ സദാ സഹാഈ॥
Tuma anatha ke natha gosaim Dinana ke ho sada sahai
അർഥം:You are the Lord of the orphaned, O Master; ever the helper of the lowly.
ബ്രഹ്മാദിക തവ പാര ന പാവൈം। സദാ ഈശ തുമ്ഹരോ യശ ഗാവൈം॥
Brahmadika tava para na pavaim Sada isha tumharo yasha gavaim
അർഥം:Brahma and the gods cannot find your limit; ever, O Lord, they sing your glory.
ചാരിഉ ഭേദ ഭരത ഹൈം സാഖീ। തുമ ഭക്തന കീ ലജ്ജാ രാഖീ॥
Chariu bheda bharata haim sakhi Tuma bhaktana ki lajja rakhi
അർഥം:The four Vedas bear witness; you preserve the honour of your devotees.
ഗുണ ഗാവത ശാരദ മന മാഹീം। സുരപതി താകോ പാര ന പാഹിം॥
Guna gavata sharada mana mahim Surapati tako para na pahim
അർഥം:Sharada (Saraswati) sings your virtues in her heart, yet even Indra cannot reach your end.
നാമ തുമ്ഹാര ലേത ജോ കോഈ। താ സമ ധന്യ ഔര നഹീം ഹോഈ॥
Nama tumhara leta jo koi Ta sama dhanya aura nahim hoi
അർഥം:Whoever takes your name — none is more blessed than they.
രാമ നാമ ഹൈ അപരമ്പാരാ। ചാരിഹു വേദന ജാഹി പുകാരാ॥
Rama nama hai aparampara Charihu vedana jahi pukara
അർഥം:The name of Rama is boundless; all four Vedas proclaim it.
ഗണപതി നാമ തുമ്ഹാരോ ലീന്ഹോ। തിനകോ പ്രഥമ പൂജ്യ തുമ കീന്ഹോ॥
Ganapati nama tumharo linho Tinako prathama pujya tuma kinho
അർഥം:You took on the name of Ganapati (Ganesha) and made him the first to be worshipped.
ശേഷ രടത നിത നാമ തുമ്ഹാരാ। മഹി കോ ഭാര ശീശ പര ധാരാ॥
Shesha ratata nita nama tumhara Mahi ko bhara shisha para dhara
അർഥം:Shesha (the serpent) ever repeats your name, bearing the burden of the earth upon his head.
ഫൂല സമാന രഹത സോ ഭാരാ। പാവത കോഊ ന തുമ്ഹരോ പാരാ॥
Phula samana rahata so bhara Pavata kou na tumharo para
അർഥം:That burden rests as light as a flower for him; yet no one finds your limit.
ഭരത നാമ തുമ്ഹരോ ഉര ധാരോ। താസോം കബഹൂം ന രണ മേം ഹാരോ॥
Bharata nama tumharo ura dharo Tasom kabahum na rana mem haro
അർഥം:Hold the name of Bharata in your heart, and you will never be defeated in battle.
നാമ ശത്രുഹന ഹൃദയ പ്രകാശാ। സുമിരത ഹോത ശത്രു കര നാശാ॥
Nama shatruhana hridaya prakasha Sumirata hota shatru kara nasha
അർഥം:The name of Shatrughna shines in the heart; remembering it, the enemy is destroyed.
ലഖന തുമ്ഹാരേ ആജ്ഞാകാരീ। സദാ കരത സന്തന രഖവാരീ॥
Lakhana tumhare ajnakari Sada karata santana rakhavari
അർഥം:Lakshmana is obedient to you, ever guarding the saints.
താതേ രണ ജീതേ നഹിം കോഈ। യുദ്ധ ജുരേ യമഹൂം കിന ഹോഈ॥
Tate rana jite nahim koi Yuddha jure yamahum kina hoi
അർഥം:Therefore none can win against them in battle, even were Yama himself to join the fight.
മഹാലക്ഷ്മീ ധര അവതാരാ। സബ വിധി കരത പാപ കോ ഛാരാ॥
Mahalakshmi dhara avatara Saba vidhi karata papa ko chhara
അർഥം:Mahalakshmi took incarnation (as Sita) and in every way reduced sin to ashes.
സീതാ രാമ പുനീതാ ഗായോ। ഭുവനേശ്വരീ പ്രഭാവ ദിഖായോ॥
Sita rama punita gayo Bhuvaneshvari prabhava dikhayo
അർഥം:Sita and Rama were sung as purifiers; she showed the power of Bhuvaneshwari.
ഘട സോം പ്രകട ഭഈ സോ ആഈ। ജാകോ ദേഖത ചന്ദ്ര ലജാഈ॥
Ghata som prakata bhai so ai Jako dekhata chandra lajai
അർഥം:She appeared from the earth (a pot), at whose sight even the moon felt shy.
ജോ തുമ്ഹരേ നിത പാംവ പലോടത। നവോ നിദ്ധി ചരണന മേം ലോടത॥
Jo tumhare nita pamva palotata Navo niddhi charanana mem lotata
അർഥം:Those who ever press your feet — the nine treasures roll at their feet.
സിദ്ധി അഠാരഹ മംഗലകാരീ। സോ തുമ പര ജാവൈ ബലിഹാരീ॥
Siddhi atharaha mamgalakari So tuma para javai balihari
അർഥം:The eighteen auspicious siddhis are ever sacrificed in devotion to you.
ഔരഹു ജോ അനേക പ്രഭുതാഈ। സോ സീതാപതി തുമഹിം ബനാഈ॥
Aurahu jo aneka prabhutai So sitapati tumahim banai
അർഥം:And whatever other glories exist, O Lord of Sita, you have created them all.
ഇച്ഛാ തേ കോടിന സംസാരാ। രചത ന ലാഗത പല കീ ബാരാ॥
Ichchha te kotina samsara Rachata na lagata pala ki bara
അർഥം:By your mere wish, millions of universes are made in less than a moment.
ജോ തുമ്ഹരേ ചരണന ചിത ലാവൈ। താകീ മുക്തി അവസി ഹോ ജാവൈ॥
Jo tumhare charanana chita lavai Taki mukti avasi ho javai
അർഥം:Whoever fixes the mind upon your feet surely attains liberation.
സുനഹു രാമ തുമ താത ഹമാരേ। തുമഹിം ഭരത കുല പൂജ്യ പ്രചാരേ॥
Sunahu rama tuma tata hamare Tumahim bharata kula pujya prachare
അർഥം:Hear me, O Rama, you are our father; you are proclaimed worthy of worship in Bharata's line.
തുമഹിം ദേവ കുല ദേവ ഹമാരേ। തുമ ഗുരു ദേവ പ്രാണ കേ പ്യാരേ॥
Tumahim deva kula deva hamare Tuma guru deva prana ke pyare
അർഥം:You are the deity of our family of gods; you are our Guru, beloved as our very life.
ജോ കുഛ ഹോ സോ തുമഹിം രാജാ। ജയ ജയ ജയ പ്രഭു രാഖോ ലാജാ॥
Jo kuchha ho so tumahim raja Jaya jaya jaya prabhu rakho laja
അർഥം:Whatever there is, all is yours, O King; victory, victory, victory, O Lord — preserve our honour.
രാമ ആത്മാ പോഷണ ഹാരേ। ജയ ജയ ജയ ദശരഥ കേ പ്യാരേ॥
Rama atma poshana hare Jaya jaya jaya dasharatha ke pyare
അർഥം:O Rama, nourisher of the soul; victory, victory, victory, O beloved of Dasharatha.
ജയ ജയ ജയ പ്രഭു ജ്യോതി സ്വരുപാ। നര്ഗുണ ബ്രഹൃ അഖണ്ഡ അനൂപാ॥
Jaya jaya jaya prabhu jyoti svarupa Narguna brahri akhanda anupa
അർഥം:Victory, victory, O Lord of the form of pure light; the attributeless Brahman, unbroken and matchless.
സത്യ സത്യ ജയ സത്യവ്രത സ്വാമീ। സത്യ സനാതന അന്തര്യാമീ॥
Satya satya jaya satyavrata svami Satya sanatana antaryami
അർഥം:Truly, truly, victory, O Lord true to your vow; the eternal Truth, the inner controller of all.
സത്യ ഭജന തുമ്ഹരോ ജോ ഗാവൈ। സോ നിശ്ചയ ചാരോം ഫല പാവൈ॥
Satya bhajana tumharo jo gavai So nishchaya charom phala pavai
അർഥം:Whoever sings your true praise surely obtains all four fruits of life.
സത്യ ശപഥ ഗൌരീപതി കീന്ഹീം। തുമനേ ഭക്തിഹിം സബ സിധി ദീന്ഹീം॥
Satya shapatha gauripati kinhim Tumane bhaktihim saba sidhi dinhim
അർഥം:Gauri's Lord (Shiva) took a true oath: you bestow every perfection through devotion.
ജ്ഞാന ഹൃദയ ദോ ജ്ഞാന സ്വരുപാ। നമോ നമോ ജയ ജഗപതി ഭൂപാ॥
Jnana hridaya do jnana svarupa Namo namo jaya jagapati bhupa
അർഥം:Grant knowledge to my heart, O embodiment of knowledge; salutations, salutations, victory, O Lord of the world.
ധന്യ ധന്യ തുമ ധന്യ പ്രതാപാ। നാമ തുമ്ഹാര ഹരത സംതാപാ॥
Dhanya dhanya tuma dhanya pratapa Nama tumhara harata samtapa
അർഥം:Blessed, blessed, blessed is your majesty; your name removes all affliction.
സത്യ ശുദ്ധ ദേവന മുഖ ഗായാ। ബജീ ദുന്ദുഭീ ശംഖ ബജായാ॥

അർഥം:The true, pure praise was sung from the mouths of the gods; kettledrums sounded and conches were blown.
സത്യ സത്യ തുമ സത്യ സനാതന। തുമ ഹീ ഹോ ഹമരേ തന-മന ധന॥
Satya satya tuma satya sanatana Tuma hi ho hamare tana-mana dhana
അർഥം:Truly, truly you are the eternal Truth; you alone are our body, mind and wealth.
യാകോ പാഠ കരേ ജോ കോഈ। ജ്ഞാന പ്രകട താകേ ഉര ഹോഈ॥
Yako patha kare jo koi Jnana prakata take ura hoi
അർഥം:Whoever recites this — knowledge arises clearly in their heart.
ആവാഗമന മിടൈ തിഹി കേരാ। സത്യ വചന മാനേ ശിവ മേരാ॥
Avagamana mitai tihi kera Satya vachana mane shiva mera
അർഥം:Their cycle of birth and death is ended — Shiva himself accepts this as true.
ഔര ആസ മന മേം ജോ ഹോഈ। മനവാംഛിത ഫല പാവേ സോഈ॥
Aura asa mana mem jo hoi Manavamchhita phala pave soi
അർഥം:And whatever other hope is in the mind, that very wish is fulfilled.
തീനഹും കാല ധ്യാന ജോ ല്യാവൈ। തുലസീ ദല അരു ഫൂല ചഢ़ാവൈ॥
Tinahum kala dhyana jo lyavai Tulasi dala aru phula chadha़avai
അർഥം:Whoever brings your meditation at all three times of day, and offers tulsi leaves and flowers —
സാഗ പത്ര സോ ഭോഗ ലഗാവൈ। സോ നര സകല സിദ്ധതാ പാവൈ॥
Saga patra so bhoga lagavai So nara sakala siddhata pavai
അർഥം:— and offers a simple food of greens — that person attains complete perfection.
അന്ത സമയ രഘുബര പുര ജാഈ। ജഹാം ജന്മ ഹരി ഭക്ത കഹാഈ॥
Anta samaya raghubara pura jai Jaham janma hari bhakta kahai
അർഥം:At the final hour they go to Rama's abode, where they are born as a devotee of Hari.
ശ്രീ ഹരിദാസ കഹൈ അരു ഗാവൈ। സോ ബൈകുണ്ഠ ധാമ കോ പാവൈ॥
Shri haridasa kahai aru gavai So baikuntha dhama ko pavai
അർഥം:So says and sings Sri Haridas; that one attains the abode of Vaikuntha.
സാത ദിവസ ജോ നേമ കര,പാഠ കരേ ചിത ലായ। ഹരിദാസ ഹരി കൃപാ സേ,അവസി ഭക്തി കോ പായ॥
Sata divasa jo nema kara,patha kare chita laya Haridasa hari kripa se,avasi bhakti ko paya
അർഥം:Whoever, with a focused mind, keeps the discipline for seven days and recites it — by Hari's grace Haridas (the devotee) surely attains devotion.
രാമ ചാലീസാ ജോ പഢ़േ,രാമ ചരണ ചിത ലായ। ജോ ഇച്ഛാ മന മേം കരൈ,സകല സിദ്ധ ഹോ ജായ॥
Rama chalisa jo padha़e,rama charana chita laya Jo ichchha mana mem karai,sakala siddha ho jaya
അർഥം:Whoever reads the Ram Chalisa, fixing the mind on Rama's feet — whatever wish is in the mind, all is fulfilled.

Daily recitation of the Ram Chalisa invokes the grace of Lord Rama (Maryada Purushottam) for protection, victory and righteousness.
Said to remove fear, enemies and obstacles, and to grant peace, prosperity and devotion.
The Chalisa promises that whoever recites it with the mind fixed on Rama's feet has every sincere wish fulfilled.
Recalls the glory of Rama's name — which even the Vedas proclaim and Shiva eternally repeats.
Especially powerful on Ram Navami, Tuesdays, and during Ramayana / Sundarkand recitation.
Keeping the seven-day discipline of recitation is said to surely bestow devotion by Hari's grace.
Ram Chalisa പാരായണ വിധി
After bathing, sit before an image of Sri Rama (with Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman). Light a lamp, offer tulsi leaves and flowers, and recite the Chalisa with the mind fixed on Rama's lotus feet. The text recommends a focused seven-day observance for devotion. Conclude with 'Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram' and aarti.
