The Sita Ashtottara Shatanamavali is a traditional garland of the 108 names of Sita. The 108 names of Goddess Sita — daughter of King Janaka, consort of Lord Rama and the embodiment of devotion, purity and forbearance — each chanted with “Om” and “namaḥ”, revered as the ideal of womanhood and a form of Goddess Lakshmi.
