श्री भैरव चालीसा

श्री गणपति गुरु गौरी पद, प्रेम सहित धरि माथ ।

Recited to invoke Kaal Bhairav, the fierce protective form of Shiva and Kotwal (guardian) of Kashi, for protection from fear, enemies, accidents and negative forces. • Believed to remove obstacles, black magic, evil spirits, untimely death and the troubles of an afflicted Rahu, Ketu and Saturn.

दुर्गा चालीसा

नमो नमो दुर्गे सुख करनी । नमो नमो दुर्गे दुःख हरनी ॥

Invokes the protective power of Goddess Durga — destroyer of evil • Essential during Navratri (9 nights of Durga worship)

गणेश चालीसा

जय गणपति सदगुण सदन, कविवर बदन कृपाल । विघ्न हरण मंगल करण, जय जय गिरिजालाल ॥

Removes all obstacles from the path of the devotee • Bestows wisdom, intelligence, and clarity of thought

श्री गंगा चालीसा

जय जय जय जग पावनी जयति देवसरि गंग ।

Recited to invoke Maa Ganga, the sacred river-goddess, for the washing away of sins, inner purification and peace of mind. • Narrates Ganga's descent (the penance of Bhagiratha, her passage through Shiva's locks, and the liberation of Sagara's sons), deepening faith and devotion.

श्री गायत्री चालीसा

ह्रीं श्रीं क्लीं मेधा प्रभा जीवन ज्योति प्रचंड ॥

Recited to invoke Maa Gayatri, the Vedmata and Goddess of the supreme Gayatri Mantra, for wisdom, clarity of intellect and the light of knowledge. • Praises the Gayatri as the mother of the four Vedas and as Saraswati, Lakshmi and Kali in one, deepening devotion and understanding of the mantra.

हनुमान चालीसा

श्रीगुरु चरन सरोज रज, निज मनु मुकुरु सुधारि।

Removes all fears and grants courage and strength • Protects from evil spirits, negativity and black magic

श्री काली चालीसा

जयकाली कलिमलहरण, महिमा अगम अपार ।

Recited to invoke Maa Kali, the fierce protective form of the Goddess, for the destruction of fear, enemies, negativity and the ego. • Describes Kali's eight-armed form, her companions and her deeds (the slaying of Mahishasura, Shumbha and Nishumbha, and the episode of treading on Shiva), strengthening courage and surrender.

खाटू श्याम चालीसा

श्री गुरु चरण ध्यान धर,सुमिरि सच्चिदानन्द।

The Khatu Shyam Chalisa invokes Shyam Baba (Barbarika) — known as 'Haare ka Sahara', the support of the defeated and helpless. • Chanted for the fulfilment of wishes, removal of obstacles, courage in hardship and unwavering devotion.

कृष्ण चालीसा

बंशी शोभित कर मधुर, नील जलद तन श्याम।

Recitation of the Krishna Chalisa fills the heart with love (prema-bhakti) for Lord Krishna and recalls his enchanting childhood pastimes. • It narrates Krishna's miracles — lifting Govardhan, subduing Kaliya, saving Draupadi — strengthening faith and surrender.

श्री नवग्रह चालीसा

श्री गणपति गुरुपद कमल प्रेम सहित सिरनाय ।

Recited to please all nine planets (Navagraha) at once and pacify malefic planetary influences in the birth chart (graha dosha, graha peeda). • A single, complete remedy for Sade Sati, Shani dosha, Rahu-Ketu dosha, Mangal (Manglik) dosha and weak benefics — praising each graha in turn.

श्री राधा चालीसा

श्री राधे वृषभानुजा, भक्तनि प्राणाधार।
