✦ अर्थ
विश्वरूप के विस्मय और भय के पश्चात अर्जुन अपना धैर्य पुनः पाकर स्तुति करने लगते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि यह उचित ही है कि श्रीकृष्ण की महिमा से सम्पूर्ण जगत् हर्षित होकर प्रेमपूर्वक अनुरक्त होता है, जबकि आसुरी शक्तियाँ भयभीत होकर भागती हैं और सिद्धजन नतमस्तक होकर वन्दना करते हैं। यह श्लोक भगवान की शक्ति के भय को उनकी महिमा से उपजे आनन्द और प्रेम के साथ सुन्दर सन्तुलन में रखता है।

In the eleventh chapter, Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga, after beholding the overwhelming universal form, Arjuna composes himself and offers a series of prayers. This verse opens that hymn of praise, affirming that the world rightly rejoices in Krishna's glory while the demonic flee and the perfected sages bow before Him.

अर्थ:अर्जुन ने कहा -- हे हृषीकेश! यह उचित ही है कि आपकी महिमा से जगत् हर्षित होता है और अनुराग को प्राप्त होता है; भयभीत राक्षस सब दिशाओं में भाग जाते हैं और समस्त सिद्धगणों के समुदाय आपको नमस्कार करते हैं।
