✦ अर्थ
विश्वरूप का दर्शन करते हुए अर्जुन श्रीकृष्ण की स्तुति करते हैं कि वे अविनाशी परम तत्त्व हैं जो समस्त ज्ञान के परम लक्ष्य हैं। भगवान ही विश्व के परम आश्रय हैं, शाश्वत धर्म के अव्यय रक्षक हैं और सनातन पुरुष हैं। यह श्लोक श्रीकृष्ण को परब्रह्म रूप में प्रकट करने वाली दीप्तिमान घोषणा है, जो दार्शनिक 'अक्षर' को परम पुरुष के साथ एकाकार कर देती है।

In the eleventh chapter, Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga, after Krishna grants the divine eye and reveals His universal form, Arjuna pours forth a series of glorifications. Here he proclaims the Lord to be the imperishable Absolute, the support of the universe, the protector of eternal dharma, and the everlasting Supreme Person.

अर्थ:आप ही जानने योग्य परम अक्षर (अविनाशी) हैं; आप ही इस विश्व के परम आश्रय हैं। आप ही अव्यय और शाश्वत धर्म के रक्षक हैं, और आप ही सनातन पुरुष हैं -- ऐसा मेरा निश्चित मत है।
