✦ अर्थ
अपना गहन उपदेश देने के पश्चात श्रीकृष्ण अर्जुन से कहते हैं कि समस्त गुह्यों से भी गुह्यतर यह ज्ञान अब पूर्णतया प्रकट कर दिया गया है। उल्लेखनीय है कि भगवान आज्ञा-पालन का आदेश नहीं देते, अपितु अर्जुन को इस पर पूर्ण विचार करके अपनी स्वतन्त्र इच्छा से कर्म करने के लिए आमन्त्रित करते हैं। यह श्लोक मानवीय स्वतन्त्रता और विवेक का सुन्दर सम्मान करता है, और दर्शाता है कि गीता अन्धे आग्रह के स्थान पर समझ को आधार बनाती है।

In the eighteenth chapter, Moksha Sannyasa Yoga, as Krishna draws His teaching toward its close, He declares that He has now revealed the most confidential wisdom in full. Rather than commanding Arjuna, He invites him to reflect upon it completely and act of his own free will, just before giving His final, supreme counsel of surrender.
